Du Maurier releases the Maxim Black

Swiss brand du Maurier Watches is debuting the Maxim Black, a timepiece inspired by Maxim de Winter, the mysterious widower in Daphne du Maurier’s classic novel, Rebecca.

Described as "stylish , charming, sophisticated and wealthy," the watch is an update of the original Maxim and an "interpretation of the man, in a finely crafted timepiece capturing character and story," according to a press release.

With non-reflective sapphire glass, silver markers and elegant slim line hands, the Maxim Black is a bold update on the original watch. The elegant flash of the small second hand makes the model unique, whilst the textured jet black dial gives it an outstanding presence. The watch also features Swiss quartz movement, a date calendar, a surgical grade stainless steel case, an engraved serial number and an Italian calf leather strap.

Only 50 first edition Maxim Black watches have been made and they are available for a limited period, with an RRP of £445.00
