Doxa Watches appoints The Blue Company as UK distributor

Historic Swiss watchmaker, famed for its divers’ timekeepers, is promising a major marketing push to raise awareness of its growth plans.

Doxa Watches has signed London-based The Blue Company as its distributor for the UK.

The news follows a relaunch by the watchmaker under a centralised management team in Switzerland.

“All markets, without exception, will operate and grow under the direct responsibility of the general management in Switzerland, which will ensure consistency and cohesiveness across all activities,” the company said last week.

The Blue Company (London) Ltd, has spent a decade working with brands including Junghans, Muhle Glashutte, and Meistersinger in the UK, two independent brands that fit well with the price and positioning of Doxa.

Doxa says its central management team will draw attention to a clear, crisp and consistent brand image to help its retail partners.

This includes a new logo, marketing campaign built around the hashtag #YourCalltoAdventure, a new website and social networks relaunched under the DoxaWatchesOfficial name.
