DM London up 36% on last year


DM London is enjoying a strong year with business up 36% on the previous year.

The watch retail business owns The Watch Gallery and The Watch Hut, which it acquired in January 2012, as well as running the Rolex boutique at One Hyde Park and the watch offers at Selfridges, Asos and John Lewis.

DM London director of buying and merchandising Adrian Marroneau said that a quarter of total sales in the past year have been made online.

He added: "Online is now an absolutely integral part of the retail experience across the whole category both at the luxury as well as the designer end. We have to think about creating a complete multichannel environment through every avenue."

Marroneau was named as a Bremont Retail Titan in the WatchPro Hot 100 in association with the Company of Master Jewellers earlier this year for his achievements at the retail group.
