Dix Noonan Webb strengthens its watch auction team

Mayfair auctioneer Dix Noonan Webb (DNW) has appointed Joanne Lewis as a watch specialist overseeing four focused jewellery and watch auctions per year.

Ms Lewis has over 20 years’ experience with leading London auction houses, working her way up from porter and valuer positions at Phillips and Bonhams before joining Sotheby’s in 2004 where she rose to become deputy director for watches.

DNW is a specialist auctioneer and valuer of banknotes, coins, tokens, medals and militaria.

In 2018 DNW achieved a total hammer price of £11,676,580 and the total number of lots across all departments was 20,273.

To date the company has sold in excess of 300,000 lots totalling £155 million.

The company expanded into jewellery and watches in 2015.
