Delma makes its Continental chronographs a symbol of emancipation and a marker of style

As Delma marches towards its centenary year in 2024, it is drawing inspiration from the spirit of the 1960s with this year’s fresh Continental collections.

There are quartz and automatic versions of the 2020 Delma Continental Heritage Chronographs that celebrate the golden age of progress and design of the sixties.

“Characterised by optimism, the 1960s saw numerous technological innovations and bold designs that have become iconic. It was the rise of the automobile, a symbol of emancipation and a marker of style, that most contributed to shaping the myth of an uninhibited era where everything was possible,” Delma recalls.

The new Continental collection has inherited this pioneering spirit, the brand says.

All Steel and bi-colour 42mm cases and bracelets combine brushed and polished surface and sunray panda dials with guilloche subdials give the chronographs a sporty and elegant look.

Inside, the Continental is powered by either a customized automatic Bicompax Sellita SW510 movement (CHF 2600-2700) or a quartz Ronda Z50 movement (CHF 750).

All Continental watches are water resistant to 100 metres.
