Delma adds GMT hand to its popular Cayman Worldtimer collection

Combining divers’ watch architecture with a second time zone hand is becoming increasingly popular as people’s desire to travel and explore rises.

As the world reopens, dive watch specialist Delma wants this year’s Cayman Worldtimer to inspire people to “experience the vast blue planet”.

Combining divers’ watch architecture with a second time zone hand is becoming increasingly popular as people’s desire to travel and explore rises.

“We expanded the Cayman collection with explorers of our multi-faceted aquatic world in mind. With so much still to be discovered, the earth’s varied waterways are crucial to understanding and appreciating our planet. The new Cayman’s world timer functionality enables the wearer to be connected no matter where their exploration may take them,” said Andreas Leibundgut, Delma’s head of marketing.

Delma’s Cayman collection was first launched in 2019, and its popularity has prompted a refresh this year for the 1970s-inspired watches.

Worldtimers’ polished sunray dials come in black, blue and silver framed by 24 cities representing the time zones of the world.

They can be bought on Milanese stainless steel bracelet or leather strap with contrasting stitching.

There are Ronda quartz and ETA automatic models in the collection.
