Paul Harry, of Daniel Wellington’s UK distributor Peers Hardy, attended along with distribution delegates from the brand’s 29 other territories around the world.

During the conference Filip Tysander, chief executive officer of the three-year-old brand, explained the important role played by online marketing and social media in the company’s success, with over 700,000 photo “Likes” attained on Instagram alone.

Harry added: “As one of the first Daniel Wellington distributors this was a very important event for us to attend. We’re happy to see the creative direction in which the brand is moving and look forward to contributing even further to its success with our continued partnership.”

Plans for Daniel Wellington’s future collections were announced at the conference ahead of their unveiling at next year’s BaselWorld exhibition.

The majority of Daniel Wellington’s distribution is currently Europe-based however new territories in Asia, Africa, South America, Australia and Canada are being established. The minimalist, ‘preppy’ watch brand has recently been taken on by Beaverbrooks, Fraser Hart and Goldsmiths Boutique in time for Christmas 2014.
