Next time you’re in La Chaux-de-Fonds make a beeline for Corum as the watch manufacturer has just opened its doors to the public.
Developed in conjunction with the cities of La Chaux-de-Fonds, Le Locle and Neuchâtel Tourism, guided tours of the Swiss brand’s manufacture now take place every Tuesday morning.
The tours are the brainchild of Neuchâtel Tourism, which is looking to develop tourism in the region relating to watchmaking.
The prospect has certainly captured the imagination of tourists in the region, with the tours currently booked out weeks in advance. Corum states that it is the first Swiss watch brand to open its doors on a weekly basis.
Each tour is limited to eight people and conducted in Swiss French with audio guides narrated by Neuchâtel Tourism available in other languages.
