Corum has appointed former Chopard director Davide Traxler as its new chief operating officer.
Citychamp Watch & Jewellery Group, the new name of the Chinese parent company of Montres Corum as well as Eterna, Rotary, Dreyfuss & Co and J&T Windmills, announced the appointment of Traxler yesterday.
The company cited the appointment of the former Chopard director of licenses as a demonstration of its commitment to ‘long term vision, confidence for sustainable development and continuous growth’.
Traxler’s responsibilities will include implementing the brand’s global strategy and business operations.
Jacques-Alain Vuille, Corum executive vice president and member of the five-strong executive committee running the brand, will continue to share his 35-year expertise with Corum.
Tao Li, executive chairman of Citychamp European development board, said: “It is my great pleasure to have Mr Davide Traxler accepting this challenge. His extensive experiences and glorious achievements in Swiss Haute Horlogerie will allow him to develop the brand worldwide.”
