Marks & Spencer unveiled its Christmas advert today.
Bonfire night isn’t even behind us, but the countdown to the Big Day is already underway.
Quality Streets have been stacked at the front of my local supermarket for a month and mince pies appeared this week.
For once, I am genuinely rejoicing because a long build up to Christmas is vastly preferable to a late rush.
We cannot know whether we may face restrictions in the coming months, and the supply chain and distribution issues holding up supplies of some goods show no signs of easing.
All of which supports the assertion that Christmas shopping should start early, and where better to score an amazing timepiece for under the tree than at next week’s WATCHPRO Salon?
The biggest and most prestigious watch show in the UK this year has 42 exhibitors, most of them happy to sell to the public on the day.
There are various events for retailers and press on Friday, November 12, with tickets more freely available for the public open day on Saturday, November 13.
WATCHPRO Salon is a showcase of prestige watchmakers and a chance to shop for exceptional timepieces rarely seen in the UK in 5-star luxury.
The two-day event takes place from November 12 to 13 at The Londoner, a brand new ultra-lux hotel on London’s Leicester Square.
Most brands are selling watches on the day.
