Audemars Piguet has had a comparatively quiet year. It was planning a big launch event at its brand new museum, but that was nixed by the virus. There have been limited additions to its blockbuster Royal Oak family and a broad new range of CODE 11.59 watches but, according to the company’s CEO Francois-Henry Bennahmias, lock down was not spent idling and he is promising a revolutionary new concept that he dreamed up under curfew.
