Citizen is introducing a Ladies’ World Time A-T, as part of a push further into the women’s watch market.
At BaselWorld 2013 the brand, which is synonymous with it ecologically friendly timekeeping technology, announced plans to launch a Ladies’ World Timer A-T, in response to demand for more serious watches for women.
The timepiece will have the same technology as the men’s models, featuring radio-controlled atomic timekeeping, allowing it to be extremely accurate. The ladies’ models will also feature Citizen’s Eco-Drive technology.
Speaking to WatchPro at BaselWorld 2013 Citizen Watch UK managing director Mark Robinson said: "Everyone is interested in technology now regardless of gender. We felt this was an opportunity for Citizen to differentiate itself from the rest of the market in terms of ladies’ watches."
The watch will be out in September.
