Christopher Ward trims height from latest professional dive watches

Christopher Ward slims down its professional dive watch, the C60 Trident Pro 600, to make it the C60 Trident Pro 300.

Christopher Ward has slimmed down its professional dive watch, the C60 Trident Pro 600, by taking 1.65mm off its height to make it the C60 Trident Pro 300.

The change from 600 to 300 is a reference to the water resistance rating in meters, which has been halved in a development that Christopher Ward customers have been calling for through the brand’s forum.

“The forum’s a brilliant source of opinion,” Mike France, Christopher Ward CEO and co-founder, says.

“And we don’t influence what’s said on there. But that’s great: you always learn more through criticism than praise. We asked detailed questions about what they’d like to see for Trident 4, and some of their answers are incorporated here.”

The C60 Trident Pro 300 comes in 38mm, 40mm and 42mm versions, all using the trusty Sellita SW200-1 automatic movement, which has been decorated and put on show with a crystal case back.

It has a new bezel, which now comes in two parts. The regular rotating outer section has the colored ceramic insert, and a fixed steel inner ring has gradients all the way around.

The changes over the C60 Trident Pro 600 may be most noticeable in the prices, which start at £695 on a fabric #tide strap and go up to £850 on a steel bracelet.

The full collection has dial colour options of white, blue, green and black.

  1. Whole article about them slimming down the height, and yet don’t bother to mention the new height..

  2. Would have loved to have seen in this ever smaller World, the addition of a GMT Hand for added functionality, w/o adding the 24 Hours to either Track, the Owner knows which way Home or HQ. are, and this adds value and practicality, not having to have a phone at the beach or skiing. Being Calender only, the Setting could be off the Crown. As before, I like Mike France’s open-minded approach, since taking over, though I would prefer the Christopher Ward name or overlapped Initials as w/RR to strictly a Logo over the Center Post, the Crown is perfect. Does CW have an Orange Rubber or White (Silicone) Strap to go with the Blue?
