Chopard will unveil its first self-winding L.U.C movement with a flying tourbillon at Baselworld next week. It will be used in a new L.U.C Flying T Twin timepiece.

The watch comes in a slim 40mm 18ct gold case with a a hand-guilloché gold dial.

It is powered by Chopard’s inhouse Calibre 96.24-L, which is just 3.30 mm thick including its 22ct gold rotor.

All gold used in the watch is Fairmined, Chopard says, which means it is responsibly sourced from artisanal mining cooperatives where both the environment and miners are treated correctly.

This year the watch is limited to 50 pieces.
