Chopard L.U.C. creates classical steel chronometer for 25th anniversary of its manufacture

L.U.C QF Jubilee houses an L.U.C 96.09-L with a 22ct gold microrotor and 65 hour power reserve inside its 39mm steel case.

Ahead of its main presentation at this week’s Watches and Wonders, Chopard has revealed a Fleurier Quality Foundation-certified watch in steel for the first time.

The L.U.C QF Jubilee is a 25-piece limited edition created to mark the 25th anniversary of Chopard Manufacture’s opening in 1996.

Fleurier Quality Foundation is one of several organisations that vouch for the quality of watches.

In this instance it has to be 100% made in Switzerland, accurate to chronometer standards and of high quality finish.

Its dial is made up several concentric circles around a silver sunburst centre. It is designed in a way that Chopard says combines Bauhaus simplicity with Art Deco style.
