Cheryl Dixon joins Antiquorum from Chanel

American watch auction house Antiquorum has appointed Cheryl Dixon as its new vice president of marketing and communication.

Dixon will now be responsible for designing and implementing all global marketing, branding and communication efforts throughout the company. She will be based at Antiquorum’s US headquarters in New York City.

She has 20 years of experience working for and consulting with iconic companies across luxury, consumer products and professional services industries, and was most recently at Chanel where she was executive director of communications.

At Chanel, Dixon built the department and was responsible for developing and implementing short- and long-term corporate and brand communication strategies across the luxury brand’s fashion, watches and fine jewellery, fragrance and beauty businesses.

Dixon has also worked for Pepsi-Cola North America. In this position, she also created and implemented integrated communication and public relations plans for Pepsi-Cola North America’s portfolio of brands.

She was also senior editor of National Jeweler magazine, covering the couture and retail watch and jewellery industries.
