Casio G-Shock takes flight with latest Gravitymaster

Designed with aviation professionals in mind, it has a new carbon monocoque structure, the same material commonly used in aircraft.

Casio G-Shock has released a men’s Gravitymaster timepiece with a new carbon monocoque structure.

It has been designed with aviation professionals in mind, monocoque is commonly used in aircraft structure when the chassis is integral with the body.

The model includes a fresh button confirguration consisting of four large titanium buttons and also features a carbon monocoque case that makes the watch lighter.

It is water resistant to 200m and uses G-Shock’s Triple G Resist to help guard against shock, centrifugal force and vibration.

Additionally, the watch offers Bluetooth technology through the G-Shock Connected smartphone app to keep accurate time by adjusting for daylight saving time and changes in time zone.

It is set to retail for $800 and will available for purchase starting in April at select jewelers, from the S-Shock Soho Store via gshock.com.
