Casio’s premium sub-brands have reported significant growth across the UK towards the end of last year.
The Japanese powerhouse’s G-Shock, Edifice and Baby-G brands saw their unit sales grow by 8.9% in the last quarter of 2015. This impressive figure is even more commendable given that overall UK watch sales declined by 0.8% in the same period.
Year-on-year comparisons also make for good reading for Casio, with value growth of 10.6% while the market in general only grew 1.3%.
Casio’s unit price has also significantly increased and is up 20% since 2013.
Between October and December 2015, UK watch sales saw G-Shock up by 13%, Edifice up 18% and the relaunched Baby-G up a phenomenal 42%.
