Carl Suchy & Söhne has skeletonised its Waltz No1 piece, a watch with a movement that is just 2.6mm thick.
Designed by CEO Robert Punkenhofer, designer Rein Steger and watch maker Marc Jenn, the Waltz No1 Skeleton is limited to just five pieces.
The 41mm diameter and 9mm thick case houses the calibre 5401/180 operating the hours and minutes, as well as the brand’s Waltzing Disc function at 6 o’clock on the dial.
The skeletonised and galvanised silver dial reveals the movement within while the outer part of the dial sports the rhodium plated indexes, along with the central rhodium hands for hours and minutes.
Visible through the dial and glass case back, the off-centred micro-rotor is incorporated directly into the main plate and provides 42 hours of power.
