The Camden Watch Company has introduced a new edition to its best-selling No.253 Memento Mori series with the Memento Mori Rose Gold.

The firm, headed up by husband and wife duo Jerome Robert and Anneke Short, confirmed the new offering is available for pre-order now online and online and in-store from December 2.

The Camden Watch Company’s No.253 Memento Mori is a complex and intricate timepiece designed as a homage to the great advancements in engineering during the Victorian era.

In this new edition, rose gold detailing in the centre of the dial enhances the detailed skull artwork whilst keeping the watch understated and stylish.

The hands and indexes have been made rose gold in this edition to match while the Roman Numeral hour markers are luminous.

The complex three-piece construction case is enhanced further by the two-tone colouring – a central rose gold section is the perfect way to best display the intricate engraving.

The Memento Mori, which translates as ‘Remember you must die’, special edition is based on a Victorian tradition and designed as a reminder that death is inevitable.

Contrary to the morose name, the company wants it to serve as an inspiration to live each day as it comes and not get caught up in the stress of daily life.

Priced at £175, it is water resistant to 50m and powered by a Japanese quartz movement.
