Buerberry basel stand

Burberry making Basel impact with two-storey stand

Burberry is set launch brand new watch collections at BaselWorld next month as it makes its show debut with a large-scale stand adorned with British-made features.

The brand will reveal new timepiece designs and fresh updates to its Britain watch collection within a slick, two-storey brand space in Hall 1.

Burberry said it has created an "architecturally innovative space" for the event, incorporating digital screens which will stream Burberry timepiece video content throughout the duration of the show.

The stand will be surrounded by an illuminated façade constructed of transparent panels with the famous Burberry print, designed under the creative direction of Christopher Bailey, Burberry’s chief creative officer.

Interactive displays on fixtures will enable visitors to get a closer look at Burberry’s Swiss Made craftsmanship.

The brand has stuck to its British roots, working with craftspeople from Britain to create the stand and its interior, with the intention of reflecting Burberry’s global flagship stores, including solid oak screens, bespoke plaster mouldings, suede upholstered Burberry furniture and freestanding bronze and glass fixtures.
