Bremont lets customers design their own MBII watch online

It is now possible to create over 100 different styles of the aviator watch.

Bremont has introduced an online service that lets customers design their own version of its Martin Baker (MB) watches.

The system, which is live now on Bremont.com and can be embedded within the website of Bremont’s authorised dealers, has pre-loaded dials, cases, casebacks, barrels and straps choices to choose from for the latest collection, which has been relaunched this year as the MBII.

Customers can change the barrel color to blue, orange, yellow, green, anthracite, purple, bronze, jet or titanium.

The personalised movement can be admired through a special open case back version which is a first in the MB collection.

There will be over 100 different possible designs in terms of case and dial, and over 1000 factoring in the different straps.

Once configured and ordered online, delivery of a custom MB will be 12-14 weeks, Bremont says.

Bremont has refined the design of the black and white dials for this year’s MBII, and added a blue model.

MBII watches are slightly stripped back from their original design. Hands are more readable and the dial is less cluttered with the removal of the day function.

A newly designed case back is inset with a bronze coloured ‘military challenge coin’, historically used to represent membership of a unit/elite group of people or service on a specific tour of duty.

Housed inside is a modified calibre 11 1/2”’ BE-36AE automatic chronometer that has been tuned to make it more shock resistant.

There are also new straps with a rubber and leather composite option added.
