Breitling has opened the biggest monobrand boutique in Europe on London’s Regent Street.
In all, the property takes up eight floors of retail and office space, and will house Breitling’s UK operation, one of the brand’s most successful in the world.
Regent Street becomes the second directly owned and operated showroom for Breitling in London as it will keep its current Bond Street boutique, the company confirmed to WatchPro.
Georges Kern, Breitling CEO, has overseen a repositioning of the brand since taking over two years’ ago, and introduced a townhouse concept at new boutiques.
“The Breitling Townhouse extends our loft concept, creating a stylish, cool and informal environment in an iconic London location that perfectly welcomes our customers and also reflects the inclusive character of our brand. It is significant that the Townhouse is located in the UK as our second largest global market, and we are thrilled to cement our commitment to the UK though this new home,” he says.
The store, located at 198 Regent Street, opens its doors on Saturday February 15.
“With our new design concept we are respecting our long, impressive heritage, but are doing so by creating a relaxed, stylish environment. For long-time Breitling fans, it will feel like home but we are also opening our doors to a new generation of Breitling enthusiasts,” says Breitling UK managing director Gavin Murphy.
