Breguet revisits the past for its Only Watch piece

Breguet has unveiled its timepiece for the Only Watch charity auction, 2013.

The Classique Chronograph open worked 5284 model features the calibre CH 27 undecorated movement, which was originally designed in the 1940s by Albert Piguet.

In this specially produced watch, the movement has been brought to life again, in an 18ct gold case, decorated with fine fluting on the caseband, reflecting Breguet’s first timepieces. The movement, which has been engraved by hand, can be seen through the sapphire crystal dial and case back.

The Only Watch auction, 2013 aims to help the fight against muscular dystrophy through its support of the Monaco Myopathy Association.
