Braun and Paul Smith fuse German and British design into trio of timekeepers

The collaboration has created a travel alarm clock, a wall clock and a classic watch.

Few brands represent their home countries as perfectly as Braun and Paul Smith.

Braun is the master of Bauhaus minimalism and its form follows function philosophy so beloved in its native Germany.

Paul Smith is the fashion designer who taught British men to dress with spirit and style.

Now the two influencers have come together to make a set of limited edition clocks and watches.

The collaboration has created a travel alarm clock, a wall clock and a classic watch.

Input from the British and Germans is obvious in the clean lines and finish of Braun for all three timekeepers coupled with the multi-coloured stripe as a splash of interest that is a design signature of Paul Smith.

“The subtle addition of Paul Smiths unmistakable stripe and logo adds a playful detail to three timeless designs that prioritise form, function, and clarity,” the companies say.

Both the clocks and the watch go on sale this month. The wall clock retails for £60 and the travel clock for £30. The watch is priced at £180.

  1. “The wall clock retails for £30 and the travel clock for £60”. The actual prices are the other way around.
