Hautlence, sister-brand of H. Moser & Cie, this year reveals a 5N+ 18ct gold version of its Vortex model.
As a brand Hautlence has taken the idea of dial animation as far as its reasonably possible to imagine with both the Vortex and its H2 flagship model.
Each of the brand’s watches displays an incredible wealth of concepts and mechanisms on each and every dial it produces and the square-cased Vortex 02 is no exception.
Minutes are displayed on a retrograde track at the 12 o’clock with a power reserve trailing around the edge and numerical hours sit at the nine o’clock. The balance meanwhile is mounted on a mobile bridge which rotates through 60˚ at the change of each hour.
The considerable mechanics behind this endeavour are on displayed through a smoked sapphire crystal dial and six large boxed sapphire crystals which make up the majority of the case structure.
