Boss Watches relaunches hole-in-one giveaway

Boss Watches is once again teeing off with its reward scheme for club golfers up and down the country who record a hole-in-one.

Boss Watches launched its H1 Club in 2013, that saw £600,000 worth of specially created, limited edition watches presented to golfers who were fortunate enough to pull off a hole-in-one in official club competitions in the UK and Ireland. This year a ladies’ watch has been created to join the unisex version created last year.

The 2014 H1 Club season drives onto the fairway on April 14 in association with The Telegraph and HowDidiDo, Europe’s largest golfing community, which automatically collates the scores of official competitions at 1,800 UK golf clubs.

Golfers recording a hole-in-one at these competitions will automatically receive their watch and membership to the Boss Watches H1 Club.

Stephen Brydon, commercial director for MGS Distribution, the official licenced UK distributor for BOSS Watches, explained: "We were overwhelmed with the positive response to the launch of the BOSS Watches H1 Club last year. Scores of people emailed us to thank us for the watch and many more simply to say what a great concept the club was.

"They shared the same view as we did, in that golfers should have something tangible to show for their efforts in recording a hole-in-one – possibly the most memorable thing they’ll achieve in golf – and not just be out of pocket after buying a round of drinks in the clubhouse. You only have to see the happy, smiling faces in the photos winners have supplied to us to see how much it means to them. It’s really gratifying for all of us involved to be able to add to the memory in this way."
