Bob’s Watches launches affiliate programme in these times of need

Retailers could be earning money from selling pre-owned watches within days through the Partner in Time programme.

Bob’s Watches, one of the world’s leading traders of pre-owned luxury watches, has launched an affiliate programme that lets watch retailers immediately start selling online.

The California-based business says affiliate partners that are struggling to maintain sales since they have been forced to close their doors can be up and running selling pre-owned Rolexes within a few days and with no upfront investment.

Bob’s Watches has more than 500 pre-owned Rolex watches in its inventory today, all of which can be sold by affiliate partners.

Even retailers with under-developed websites and no prior e-commerce experience can join the “Partners in Time” affiliate programme, because Bob’s is offering to do all the development work.

Villareal Jewelers in Austin, Texas, is an early adopter and shows the simplicity of the programme, which is also open to retailers outside the United States.

Bob’s Watches has provided a page describing the qualities of Rolex watches and why customers must look for certified and authenticated models when considering buying pre-owned.

The page has two links back to Bob’s Watches: one to buy watches and one to sell.

If a customer comes through from a retailer like Villareal Jewelers, or anybody else signing up to the affiliate programme, all referred sales earn 5% commission.

Bob’s Watches says its average order value is currently $8,400, from which the affiliated retailer would earn $420.

There is a cap on commission of 5% of $1,000 for any transaction, which kicks in at sales above $20,000.

As well as helping brick and mortar retailers earn income, Bob’s Watches is also raising money for healthcare workers fighting Covid-19.

The company’s goal is to raise $100,000 for the Frontline Foods charity that works with restaurants to distribute meals to health and care professionals.

“The goal is $100,000, and to kick things off, Bob’s Watches will match the first $10,000 raised, dollar for dollar. Time is a luxury during these unprecedented times. Bob’s Watches values and supports the healthcare workers fighting on the front lines against COVID-19 by partnering with Frontline Foods,” says Bob’s Watches CEO Paul Altieri.
