Blancpain to open first two UK boutiques in London

Blancpain has launched its first UK own-brand retail outlets in the UK with two new London boutiques, the latest in a network of 30 global stores.

A 43sq mt flagship boutique at 11 New Bond Street is spread over two floors with a traditional retail space on the ground floor as well as an exclusive lounge and bar on the first floor where customers can receive one-to-one advice from expert staff on potential purchases.

Swatch Group-owned Blancpain, which is the world’s oldest watch brand, will also open the company’s first franchise boutique in Harrods. The 24sq mt space will be based in the Knightsbridge department store’s Fine Watch Room when it opens in October.

While each boutique has been designed to reflect a distinct personality, both reflect the spirit of the brand’s watch-making workshops in Le Brassus, with cherry wood accents and photography and video of the brand’s commitments to the underwater world and motorsport. The boutiques will also offer new models exclusive to each.
