Luxury watch retailer The Watch Gallery has announced an exclusive limited edition chronograph to mark its partnership with luxury British watchmaker Bremont; this follows a previous successful collaboration between the two companies in 2012.
Adrian Maronneau, director of buying & merchandising at The Watch Gallery, said the two companies had grown up together and that, “you could go as far as calling us best buddies”.
He added: “This new limited edition truly celebrates our common history. We have been talking about creating a blue dial on the ALT1-C since it first launched. Mixed with a perfectly matching blue racing strap it gives the watch an inimitable Watch Gallery look while staying true to Bremont’s famous DNA.”
The Bremont ALT1-C Watch Gallery Limited Edition is limited to 20 pieces worldwide and is inspired by the design of the RAF Mosquito fuel gauge and is off-set with two etched sub dials. It features polished applied numerals set on a blue dial in The Watch Gallery’s signature shade.
Bremont co-founder Nick English, said: “The beautiful blue coloured dial, teamed with a blue strap, not only makes this watch distinctive but also pretty unique.”
He added: “We’ve worked with The Watch Gallery for many years now and it’s a wonderful partnership, something we’re very motivated by. It was an honour to produce a watch in partnership with them and it seemed fitting to use the blue of The Watch Gallery; with its beautifully polished applied indexes, we’ve come up with something slightly more classical.”
