Bering Time has hired a full-time visual merchandiser and events manager in the UK as it plans to invest in more retailer events.
Bethan Palmer joins the team after spending two years as a supervisor at Market Harborough jeweller Steffans.
One of Palmer’s first tasks is to launch the Bering Ice Bar retailer events in the UK, which will kick off on Saturday at department store Bentalls in Bracknell, Berkshire.
She will also be charged with working with UK retailers to create Bering displays.
Palmer said: "A display is a reflection of the company so we want to be showing it off in its best possible light. By introducing a visual merchandiser to the team it shows Bering’s commitment to its success.
"My previous experience in the jewellery industry has given me the eye for perfection which will be made visible in my displays. That little bit of extra attention to detail will make all the difference to the eye of the customer."
Bering area sales manager Steve Todd said that the creation of this new role will improve the service the brand can offer retailers.
He added: "With a dedicated visual merchandiser Bering will not only be able to offer additional support and training to its customers, but it will also free up further time for the sales team to be able to respond swiftly."
