Bering to front British Airways’ inflight magazine in bid to expand European customer base


Danish watch and jewellery brand, Bering, will feature on the front cover of BA’s ‘High Life Shop’ from April to August, following confirmation that two of it most iconic watches will now be available to buy in the renowned inflight shopping magazine.

Distributed in every seat pocket on every British Airways flight, as well as the luxurious BA lounges, High Life magazine is known for its inspirational features, high-profile contributors and selection of luxury goods to purchase inflight.

Bering will be selling their classic polished silver unisex watch and the men’s solar brushed grey watch in the publication for a four-month period.


With a revised focus on expanding their European customer base, Bering has developed a pipeline of PR campaigns and marketing activity for this year.

So far this has included activity at London Fashion Week, an international store launch in Vienna and a UK influencer trip to the Arctic.

Bering’s alliance with BA represents a “significant milestone in establishing a strong UK presence”, the company said.

Bering Founder, Lars Gram Skjønnemann, said: “As one of the UK’s foremost travel titles, it made total sense to align Bering with High Life and the modern, well-rounded values it encompasses.

“We have chosen two of our iconic timepieces to be sold in the magazine, which represent the sleek minimalism synonymous with the Bering brand.”
