Bell & Ross has created a lavish wooden aircraft cockpit dashboard inspired collector’s box comprising six watches for this year’s Only Watch charity auction.
Each of the timepieces has been inspired by aeronautical navigation instruments and each features a dash of orange, synonymous with aeronautical instruments and Bell & Ross.
The six watches going under the hammer are the BR01 Horizon; Altimeter and Turn Coordinator created in 2012, and the BR01 Heading Indicator; Airspeed and Climb, created in 2013.
All the pieces are inspired by instruments that are essential to aeronautical navigation. The exclusive box is designed to replicate the dashboard of an aircraft cockpit and features vital instruments laid out in a T for optimum legibility.
This year marks the fifth edition of the Only Watch charity auction, which is scheduled for September 28 in Monaco. The auction is organised by the Monaco Association against Muscular Dystophy.
The auction will see approximately 40 watch brands contribute a unique piece and all the profits will fund research on Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy.
