Bell & Ross has sponsored the renovation and re-opening of the Art Deco clock in the Eight Columns Room in France’s Le Bourget Museum of Air and Space.
Designed in 1937 as part of the Universal Exhibition, each hour marker of the clock is a smaller clock, which displays a different world time zone.
Damaged in World War II, the clock has now been fully restored with the support of Bell & Ross; the brand took on the project in line with their range of aviation inspired pieces and worked in partnership with the Jet Services aviation group.
The opening ceremony happened in the presence of France’s defence minister, Mr Jean-Yves le Drian, on June 3.
