Baume et Mercier has unveiled its first 2016 timepiece ahead of Geneva luxury watch show SIHH in January.
The Clifton Chronograph Complete Calendar will retail for £3,250 when it goes on sale and includes chronograph and complete calendar complications.
The watch utilises a Valjoux 7751 calibre and features a central-hand date with day and month twin apertures at the 12 o’clock position with a day/night indication at the nine o’clock. A moonphase disk at the six o’clock completes one rotation every 29-and-a-half days.
A central second hand counts chronograph seconds with minutes and hours recorded at the 12 and six o’clock positions respectively. The three chronograph hands are identified in blued steel.
Sapphire crystal front and back offers a glimpse of a movement decorated with perlage and Côtes de Genève while the 43mm steel case is presented using contrasting satin and polished finishes. The watch is secured on a black alligator strap with triple folding clasp.
