Baume and ZAG partner again to bring second sustainable limited edition watch

Brands Baume and ZAG have partnered once again to bring the Baume x ZAG Limited Edition II, a watch inspired by the sustainable ethos of both companies.

The brands’ partnership promotes the idea of upcycling, with the watch made using recycled materials such as the excess materials from the production of ZAG skis, which makes the 42mm casing.

The casing includes wood and carbon, while a blue anodized aluminium container houses the movement and clips onto the case to give added protection and water-resistance.

Two interchangeable straps come as standard: a white version in RPET with cork lining and blue stitching, and a blue cotton version with cork lining and yellow stitching.

2% of sales will go to the ProtectOurWinters environmental charity.

ZAG CEO Caroline de Wailly commented: “We share the same passion for innovative design and the same commitment to protecting our environment. ZAG skis and Baume watches have been created with an eco-friendly approach to design. This partnership symbolises our common values and goals.”
