The new BaselWorld 2013 app is now available to download free of charge.
The app, which works on iPhones, iPads, Blackberries, Androids and other smart phones, will help visitors to next month’s Swiss watch trade exhibition navigate their way round the show’s new layout.
BaselWorld has just undergone a £300 million revamp that has radically changed the layout of the show, jumbling the positions of brands, many of which had previously been in the same spots for many years.
The BaselWorld app includes 3D hall plans, detailed information on exhibitors and an overview of events. New features of the 2013 app include the ability to attach your notes and photos to an exhibitor’s listing to aid recall after the event.
When the exhibition is on the app will be updated daily with articles taken from that day’s issue of the BaselWorld Daily News, a newspaper published by the exhibition during the show.
