Bamford London has kept itself in the public eye over the past year with licensed character editions of its Mayfair and GMT watches in collaboration with Sesame Street, Popeye and Peanuts.
Today it is advancing its core collection line up with the addition of a monopusher chronograph named the Bamford B347.
There are two models launching today, one in the signature Bamford aqua blue and black, the other with a black and white reverse panda design.
Both come in 41.5mm carbon fibre cases housing the Sellita SW510 automatic movement.
They come with a black rubber strap but can be customized with leather or cordura straps or four other rubber straps in red, yellow, blue and khaki.
“The monopusher chronograph is one of my favourite types of watches as I love the asymmetric layout and simplicity of function. I am always drawn to a retro modern design with the use of cutting edge materials and I always strive to push the design limit,” says Bamford London founder George Bamford.
“Using some of our signature colourways and using carbon fibre on the case, I love the aesthetics and technicalities of these watches. Since the prototypes arrived, they have constantly been on my wrist and I hope people feel the same way as I do. I am so excited to offer a brand new watch for the market and I cannot wait to see it on people’s wrists,” he adds.
The monopusher chronograph B347 range pushes Bamford London into a new price tier with the watches retailing for £2,500, well above the £1,500 range of the mechanical GMT family and the £500 positioning of the Mayfair quartz family.
The B347 will be sold exclusively by Bamford London and Hodinkee.com for one month from today before becoming available from Bamford London partners worldwide.
