Ball Watch Company upgrades to Engineer Master II Diver Worldtimer

Award-winning Diver Worldtime has been updated for 2020 in a streamlined 42mm stainless steel case.

Ball Watch Company’s award-winning Diver Worldtime has been updated for 2020 in a streamlined 42mm stainless steel case for the Engineer Master II Diver Worldtimer.

The combination of a world time inner bezel indication and uni-directional bezel is unusual, given that ease of use legibility is normally paramount for divers.

But Ball has managed to maintain clear legibility, and its signature micro gas tubes illuminated markers more than makes up in the readability stakes, particularly in the dark depths of the sea.

Built with both today’s travelling executive and sporty diver in mind, the watch’s inner ring is adorned with 24 global cities and diving graduations.

When diving, the bezel can be turned to begin tracking elapsed time under water.

Previous models had a second crown at 2 o’clock, but the new model features only one screwed-in crown for setting the time, day and date.

The 2020 Engineer Master II Diver Worldtimer, which is slightly smaller than in previous years, houses an automatic caliber BALL RR1501-C, a COSC certified chronometer that is visible through a crystal caseback.

It is on sale now for £2,630 on a steel bracelet or £2,490 on a rubber strap.
