Aviation-inspired watch brand explores new depths with Diver Collection launch

Aviation-inspired watch brand Torgoen has introduced its new T43 Diver Collection which includes five unique watches available in black, red or navy.

Each T43 Diver watch features a 44mm stainless steel case, a classic diver’s ratcheting bezel and best-in-class sapphire crystal for superior scratch resistance and water resistance up to 200 meters.

The two strap options allow for a sport look with the silicone strap or a more traditional look with the stainless steel bracelet.

Matthew Shell, senior vice president of product at Torgeon’s parent company, E. Gluck, said: “Our customers have come to know Torgoen for quality aviation-inspired pilot watches; and with the release of the T43 Diver Collection, we’re excited to offer them a whole new experience. We have invested significant time into research and development to ensure that our new dive watches match the standard and quality that has made us successful in the aviation market.

“With this new category, we are excited to expand Torgoen’s scope and provide our customers with watches suited to every aspect of their adventurous lifestyles.”

The movement of the watch was designed and produced by leading Swiss manufacturer, Ronda. The 515S.2 mechanism incorporates torques meant to withstand the heavy hands and sturdy construction of the T43 Diver Collection.

Other specifications include: a power-saving mechanism that allows for battery life of 24 months, three hands, a date window, repairable metal parts, one jewel and a powerful stepping motor.

Purchases of the T43 Diver Collection will be included in Torgoen’s philanthropic partnership with Miracle Flights, the nation’s leading medical flight charity, which provides flights to families with children in need of life changing medical care.

A portion of proceeds from every watch sold on the brand’s site is donated to the 35 year old non-profit.

Available exclusively on Torgoen.com, the T43 retails for $275 (£210) with a 24mm silicone band and $285 (£220) with a solid stainless steel bracelet.

Launching just in time for the holiday shopping season, the collection falls into a mid-luxury price point at under $300 (£250).
