Greubel Forsey has unveiled a fresh look to its Balancier S along with a new way to schedule limited releases of watches.
The Balancier S² is described as a streamlining of its original look in a new assertive style that replaces soft curves and a discreet overall aesthetic with contrast and power.
“It shares the movement of its predecessor but introduces a new case, new finishing and new design codes,” the company states.
The 46.5mm titanium watches display hours and minutes, small seconds, power-reserve and the 30° inclined Greubel Forsey balance wheel system on the dial, all framed by a brushed titanium bezel.
Only 88 pieces of this new Balancier S² with a charcoal grey dial will be made in total, but just 22 will be put on sale each year between 2022 and 2025.
For a lighter grey piece, there will be 16 released per year for four years, a total of 64.
