Asprey’s Bond Street store in London has had a springtime makeover with updates to its watch department.
The historical store on Bond Street, which has been home to Asprey for more than 160 years, was given a fresh update by retail design consultancy gpstudio.
Gpstudio was tasked with amalgamating three generations of fixtures with finishes such as rich timber veneers, bronze detailing, leather work and hand-embroidered carpets with the brand’s fern motif to "bridge the gap between the heritage of the brand and its modern day conception".
Office of Light provided new lighting concepts for the store.
Gpstudio partner Gregor Jackson said: “It was very exciting to be given the opportunity to work on such a prestigious retail space and we felt it was vitally important to carefully blend the mix of old and new.”
Gpstudio has also worked on luxury retail spaces for other luxury brands including De Beers, Mulberry and Aspinal of London.
