Swedish watch brand TID Watches has unveiled its new collection which is the result of a collaboration between leading artists and designers.
The TID Canvas collection invited artists and designers to interpret the brand’s No.1 watch, resulting in a limited edition annual production of the time piece.
The Swedish design studio Form Us With Love, is the first in a long line to set its tone the watch by stripping the No.1 to its bare minimum — white, monochrome and dismantled — in a limited edition production of five hundred exclusively enumerated watches.
The limited combination is enveloped by a unique sleeve in which the current serial number is written by hand and match the inscription on the wristband.
The wristbands are made out of Swedish vegetably tanned leather from the organic tannery Tärnsjö Garveri. Vegetable tanning gives the leather unique natural characteristics and environmentally friendly features. The wristbands combines comfort and look, fashion and tradition, uniqueness and versatility.
Current UK stockists include Harvey Nichols and it is hoped that the Swedish brand can bolster its position with watch retailers with its new collection.
