The historic Angelus watch brand has been revived by the owners of Arnold & Son with a distinctly different look.
Prothor Holding, which owns Arnold & Son and is in turn owned by Citizen, has revived the Angelus brand, which became a victim of the quartz crisis going out of business 30 year ago. Angelus was renowned for its classic chronograph wristwatches.
The first product of the relaunch is the stunning U10 Tourbillon Lumiere, features hours, minutes, dead beat seconds, a one-minute flying tourbillon, a 90-hour linear power reserve indicator on the case profile and no fewer than seven sapphire crystals.
The U10 Tourbillon Lumiere is limted to just 25 pieces and will be exhibited on Arnold & Son’s stand at Baselworld.
