Armin Strom’s Dual Time Resonance wins Red Dot Award

Given for ‘excellence in product design’, the winning watch contains 70 jewels and a total of 419 components.

The design team behind Armin Strom’s Dual Time Resonance has won the Red Dot Design Award for 2019.

Given for ‘excellence in product design’ the Swiss-based brand gained the award in the watches category.

As part of the design process for the Dual time Resonance, the team placed the two movements apart horizontally in order to amplify the form-follows-function horizontal movement architecture of the caliber ARF17.

The brand’s co-founder and technical director, Claude Greisler, commented: “We are highly honoured by this award. We are proud to join the ranks of exceptional prize-winners.”
