Antiquorum to auction Elvis Presleys’ Omega

Specialist watch auctioneer Antiquorum is set to auction an Omega timepiece owned by Elvis Presley that could potentially realise $10,000 to $20,000 (£6.3k to £13k) at auction next month.

The timepiece is set to go up for sale, alongside a host of Patek Philippes and Jaeger-LeCoultres, at the auction house’s New York sale on June 12.

Among a total 269 timepieces, the black-dialled steel and rose gold Omega Constellation will be a highlight, having been owned and worn by the King of Rock’n’Roll himself.

Presley’s Omega is a calendar timepiece produced circa 1960. It is said to be a “fine and rare” watch, made in stainless steel and rose gold. It has a self-winding movement, centre seconds and has a special letter of verification from one of Presley’s long-term friends Charlie Hodge.

The watches will be showcased in Hong Kong, Shanghai and Singapore ahead of the US sale.
