Analogue smart watch launches crowdfunding campaign

A manufacturer of a Swiss analogue smart watch-come-bicycle speedometer has launched a crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter to aid the launch of the chronograph.

The Moskito smart watch is designed for a long battery life and smart notifications so that users can catch calls, messages and emails. It informs the user of notification on the dial and the charging function takes away the need for batteries.

As well as being a chronograph, Moskito is an analogue tachometer that informs on speed, distance travelled and average speed.

The watch is also able to inform users on personal bests and specific route sections in real time. This data can then be uploaded to Strava or Garmin Connect.

The Moskito is connected to users smart phones via Bluetooth and a downloadable app.
