Bollywood royalty and Longines Ambassador Aishwarya Rai visited the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow.
Rai joined Longines president Walter von Kanel at the opening ceremony of the XX Commonwealth Games, of which Longines is the official timekeeper and watch of the games.
During the 11 days of the games, which closed yesterday, Longines provides 190 timekeepers and 122 tonnes of equipment to support the event.
The Official Watch of Glasgow 2014 is a chronograph in steel from the Conquest Classic collection, housing an exclusive mechanical column-wheel calibre. Longines’ involvement in the Commonwealth Games dates back to 1962, when it was the Timekeeper of the event in Perth, Australia.
