British brand Alexandre Meerson has designed a new luxury collection and bespoke service that allows the business to go further in its approach to personalisation in watchmaking.
The label has developed a new model, the Mutiny Chronograph, which can be customised to suit the wearer’s needs.
The starting point for clients is a clean and balanced design, featuring a 40mm case. They can then customise subtle features such as polishing, colour and engraving of the case, or the fabric and stitching of the strap.
Dial colour and/or pattern may be customised and a coating applied to the hands. The strap fabric pattern or leather may also be picked to match an outfit or mood.
Each watch is individually numbered and can be further personalised with a pattern on the back or secretly engraved with a meaningful message.
Mutiny Chornograph also comes with a travel pouch that can be customised to match the watch straps and include the wearer’s name or initials.
Designer Alexandre Meerson said the Mutiny offers the ultimate client experience,with an “incomparable level of personalisation and service”, and at an exceptional price point – starting at £4,475.
“I am a designer and, in the spirit of the Maison de Luxe, the best results are obtained by collaborating with the owners and craftspeople. Owning something personalised is really cool ,” he added.
