The famous Regulator of the Avantgarde collection of “Alexander Shorokhoff” has become history.
The German-based brand has reported how both models in the series, R01 and R01, are now available for purchase in just very small numbers.
It goes on to detail how the watch manufactory is still happy to allow a few customers to still do so, and be part of the history.
Since the first presentation of the Avantgarde collection in 2011, the beautifully designed Regulator series R01 was included.
It enjoyed great popularity in its category, and was able to successfully compete with other watch brands on the market.
With an anti-reflective sapphire crystal, a sapphire crystal back with 7 screws, a hand-engraved and finished movement with blued screws, and an excellent price-performance ratio, nothing else was imaginable until 2016, when the successor R02 was developed.
Even more sophisticated and elaborate in a more traditional finish and won third place in the Golden Balance Wheel awards in 2017.
The movement for both models is the excellent 3105.Poljot movement, which is converted into a regulator at the “Alexander Shorokhoff” watch manufactory.
